Teenager charged with break and enter, voyeurism

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — New Glasgow Regional Police have arrested and charged an 18-yearold New Glasgow man with two counts of break and enter and two counts of voyeurism within the New Glasgow area. Police made the arrest on Jan. 30 at 3:45 p.m.

New Glasgow Regional Police received the complaint on

Jan. 29 at approximat­ely 5 a.m. that a man entered a residence and then shortly thereafter entered another residence in the area of New Glasgow. In both cases the man entered each residence and immediatel­y fled the area.

Preliminar­y investigat­ion has determined that this was not a random act.

The suspect remains in custody and will be appearing in provincial court in Pictou on a bail hearing on Feb. 4 on the charges of two counts voyeurism and two counts of break and enter.

The investigat­ion involves two female victims who were not injured in each of the separate residences.
