Peewee AAAs tame Bearcats

WESTVILLE ROAD, N.S. — In a Mainland League game played Jan. 20 at the

Pictou County Wellness Centre (PCWC), the Pictou County Peewee AAA Crushers beat the Truro Bearcats 4-3. Scoring for the Crushers were Landon Steele, Dominic Mac-Kenznie, Lane Sim and Kaden Smith. Assists came off the sticks of Keegan Dalton, Owen Conrad, Steele, Mac-Kenzie, Cade Moser and Ben Manos. Jorja Burrows played well in goal and held off a third period charge by the Bearcats.

The Crushers next see action Feb. 9 vs. the Bearcats at the Colchester Legion Stadium at noon, and play the East Hants Penguins the next day, in a 2:15 p.m. exhibition game at the PCWC.
