Crosby lights it up to lead bantam AAs

WESTVILLE ROAD, N.S. — The Pictou County Crushers had a successful weekend, defeating Antigonish 7-1 on Saturday and Acadia 8-1 on Sunday in bantam AA hockey play.

Against the Bulldogs, Logan Crosby paced the Crusher attack with four goals, while single markers went to Reese Smith, Lane Lochead and Jayden Duplessis. Assists went to Duplessis (2), Lochead (2), Crosby, Jax Graham, Brendan Avery, and Cale Archibald. Evam Ramsey picked up the win in nets.

On Sunday, Crosby again found the back of the net four times, while Scott Mosher collected two goals, with single markers going to Duplessis and Lochead. Assists went to Eastyn Cameron (3), Crosby, Duplessis, Lochead, Avery, Smith, and Cory MacGillivr­ay.

Cole Battist was the winning goaltender.

The Crushers next see action on Feb. 17, with a home game vs. Truro at the Pictou County Wellness Centre, starting at 10 a.m.
