Atom A Selects take pair from Wild

TRENTON, N.S. — The Fundy Highland Subway Selects atom AA team ended regular-season play this past weekend with two big wins against the Valley Wild. The young team has been powering forward in the second half of the season and it’s showing on the scoreboard.

Game 1 was held on Saturday in Kentville with 6-1 final. Scoring for the Selects were Ada White, with two, Chloe Ferguson, Ashlyn MacHattie, Kaitlyn Haines and Rogan Vint. Assists went to Haynes and Sophie Hatchard, with two each, White, MacHattie, Alley Williams, Sophie Hatchard and Bailey Kontuk. Kenli Ross had the win in nets. Game 2 occurred on Sunday in Trenton, ending 4-0. White netted a pair of goals, while Haynes and Hatchard added single tallies. Vint, with two, Williams, Haynes and Lexie MacIntyre had helpers. Ross got the shutout. The atom AAs begin playoffs next weekend.
