Undefeated champs
The Trenton Steelers peewee hockey team finished their year without losing a single game. The Steelers record finished at 41-0-1 with 288 goals for and only 59 goals against. The Steelers clinched first place in the playoffs defeating Thorburn 14-1, Stellarton 4-0 and Westville 2-0. That made second-place Pictou Maripacs and third-place New Glasgow Bombers play off to see who would play Trenton in the final. Pictou came away with a 7-3, win eliminating the Bombers. Trenton Steelers then went on to defeat the Maripacs 7-2 in the championship game. Scoring for the Steelers was Ethan MacKay with four goals, Landon Martin with a pair and Ethan Francis with a single. Assists came from Ethan MacKay (2), Martin (2), Carter Lennon and Seth Francis adding one each. Winning goalie was Derrick MacKay.
