Sugarland to play casino

-

Grammy-winning country duo Sugarland have been added to the Niagara Fallsview Casino’s concert lineup for April.

Singer Jennifer Nettles and guitarist Kristian Bush, who have sold more than eight million albums since 2004, will play the Avalon Ballroom April 10 and 11, with tickets starting at $125. The Atlanta-based couple have racked up several country chart toppers, including Want To, Already Gone and All I Want To Do. Their fourth album, the ’ 80s- influenced The Incredible Machine, was released in 2010.

The band endured tragedy last August when high winds toppled the stage at an outdoor concert at the Indiana State Fair, killing seven people and injuring more than 40.

Sugarland held a free benefit concert in October to honour the victims, though lawsuits were filed in November.

Tickets for the Fallsview shows go on sale at noon Thursday at the casino box office, www. ticket master. ca, or by phoning 1-877-833-3110.
