Key players: Guards Arjun Sohal and Kyle Krajewski; forward Rohan Quest.

Strengths: Perimeter shooting; individual defense.

Weaknesses: Consistenc­y; depth. SAINT PAUL PATRIOTS Coaches: Frank Capretta and Jeff MacDonald.

Last season’s record and finish: 3- 4 in league play last year and lost in the Zone 3 final. Won the SOSSA AAA championsh­ip and went to OFSAA.

League record going into exam week: 4- 3 in league and 14- 7 overall.

Tournament results this season: Won the Bob Coull tourna- ment at Myer; lost in the finals at the Ken Ormerod Memorial at Saltfleet; finished third in the Festival Of Lights Tournament.

Key players: Forward Reece Fisher; guards Zak Bickell and Mike Dagg.

Key newcomers: Guard Daniel Schmahl; forward Jordan Terrio.

Strengths: Shooting and overall defence. Weakness: Size. STAMFORD HORNETS Coaches: Nate Benjamin and assistants David Benjamin, Edin Ahmetovic and Kitch Howard.

Last season’s record and finish: 0- 2 in short season due to teachers’ job action.

League record going into exam week: 0-4.

Tournament results this season: Went 1- 2 at Centennial tourney, including loss to NCC in consolatio­n final; went 1-2 at Bob Coull Classic, including loss to Pearson in consolatio­n final.

Key players: Shooting guard Bryan Amoyen; power forward Dustin Bennett.

Key newcomers: Zach French and Jesse Terryberry. Strengths: Defence, shooting. Weakness: Depth at forward position. WESTLANE SPARTANS Coach: Jamie Coull and assistant Nenad Srdjenovic.

Last season’s record and finish: Lost to Saint Mike’s in Zone 3 final; won the Review Tournament ( run after the season had ended).

Tournament results this season: 5- 6; Won the Centennial Cougar Classic.
