Kaeshammer headlining Niagara Jazz Festival

Canadian jazz pianist Michael Kaeshammer will headline the Niagara Jazz Festival’s 2015 flagship event at Jackson-Triggs Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The festival’s second season runs July 23-26. Kaeshammer performs Friday, July 24.

The pianist specializes in the boogie-woogie style of piano combined with jazz, blues, stride, rock and roll, and more. A humorous host, he has seven albums and more than a thousand live shows to his credit over his career.

“We are thrilled to announce Michael Kaeshammer as the headliner for the flagship event of our 2015 festival, ” says festival executive director Juliet Dunn. “We had an exceptional launch in 2014, and we wanted to elevate the Niagara Jazz Festival to an even higher level in our second year.”
