Rose Hill Lane Inc. is excited to share with you who we are as your local premium home health care service provider. Director of Client Care, Anna Schmoll, founded the home health care service in tribute to her grandparents several years ago. Anna’s mission is to deliver reliable and compassionate care for each individual that we visit. Rose Hill Lane’s team provides a personal experience that allows people to live the life they choose, despite their health limitations.

Our Certified and Insured Personal Support Workers are able to successfully support seniors with a wide variety of health concerns. A common need in our community is to provide additional assistance for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Our Registered Staff provide a complimentary assessment, and we work together to design a personalized care plan to keep your loved one safe at home.

One of our most memorable clients thus far was World War 2 Veteran, Jack Hunter. He was very passionate about his wish to live in his own home for as long as he possibly could. Our compassionate team supported Jack for over a year and a half. His service included preparing his favorite meals, assisting with housekeeping and errands, and accompanying Jack to his doctor’s appointments. As time went on, Rose Hill Lane’s PSWs became a part of Jack’s family, and he looked forward to seeing our staff arrive. Our veteran loved to tell us his war time stories about being a naval officer on the Prince Robert, and all of the memories that came along with that. In time, Jack’s condition began to decline, and his memory worsened. We collaborated with Behavioural Support Ontario and the Alzheimer’s Society to ensure we were doing all that we could to make Jack’s environment calming and peaceful for him. When he needed more help, his caring PSWs assisted with his showers and dressing, ensuring his routine was always maintained. Fall prevention was also very important as Jack’s mobility decreased and our team provided 24 hour care for him. Jack passed away in July of 2017, according to his wishes, in his own home surrounded by his wonderful family. Rose Hill Lane is so proud to be able to support people just like Jack, whether they are dealing with Alzheimer’s or other limiting conditions.

What makes Rose Hill Lane Inc. different is our team’s attention to personal details. We recognized that communicating these details with the families involved, and our other health care partners is the key to a successful client experience. Recently, our Director of Client Care, Anna Schmoll was nominated for and won the Celebrate Niagara’s 2017 “Women in Business” Award. Anna believes she has been able to break into the industry because she herself is a Personal Support Worker, and understands how PSWs need to treat their clients in order to be successful. Rose Hill Lane’s growth in the past few years is not attributed to her vision alone, but equally to the amazing team of professionals that Rose Hill Lane has been privileged to engage. We are a compassionate and reliable group of 25 plus Personal Support Workers and Registered Staff. We are ready to serve you and your loved ones. Give us a call for a complimentary assessment!

Looking ahead, Rose Hill Lane Inc. is partnering up with Boggio Pharmacies, Trustworthy Transitions, and Heart to Home Meals Niagara to put on an exciting fundraiser for the Niagara Chapter Alzheimer’s Society. We are excited to announce “A Dance to Remember” our first annual event on May 23rd taking place at the Guild Hall in Port Colborne. Come out to support a great cause, and enjoy live music and dancing with raffle prizes and refreshments. Tickets are $10 per person and will be available for purchase at your local Boggio Pharmacy.
