420 Expo coming to Falls in 2019

-

Is Niagara Falls ready for two cannabis conventions?

The inaugural 420 Expo will be held at Scotiabank Convention Centre on April 20 next year. Co-organized by Niagara Falls cannabis activist Clarke Bitter, the show will feature info seminars, vendors, guest speakers, products and more.

“Much like we have done with wine, Niagara has an opportunity to be the focal point of cannabis in Ontario,” he says. “Niagara Falls, with our 15 million visitors per year, can expect that number to increase significantly with the legalization of recreational cannabis.”

Canada will legalize cannabis for recreational use in private residences on Oct. 17.

In addition to products and services, Bitter says the expo will showcase “cannabis culture” and its legalized role in modern society, including info on the different strains, laws surrounding cannabis use and driving, and suggestions on how to invest in cannabis stocks.

“Many people still have unanswered questions surrounding it,” he says. “We intend to answer all your questions at the NF420 Expo.”

Speakers and exhibitors will be announced closer to the event, adds Bitter.

The event happens seven months after the second annual Grow Up Cannabis Conference & Expo Sept. 7 and 8, also at Scotiabank Convention Centre.

Canadian entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary will be the opening keynote speaker.

“Grow Up is more of a trade show, where ours is a consumer show,” says Bitter.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 1 at www.niagarafalls420expo.com.
