Correction

A quirk in the Niagara Region’s voting system led to in correct information being published in a story about the newly sworn-in regional councillors voting to replace the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority board members.

Although the system recorded that Niagara Falls Coun. Peter Nicholson voted against a motion to suspend the procedural bylaw, as was reported in the story, he did not vote on the issue after previously declaring a conflict of interest.
