Nov. 26, 2018: NPCA CAO Mark Brick­ell speaks at a St. Catharines city coun­cil meet­ing. Nov. 28, 2018: At a closed door meet­ing, the NPCA board sus­pends Brick­ell with pay. Nov. 30, 2018: The term of Ni­a­gara coun­cil­lors on the NPCA board, in­clud­ing chair Sandy An­nun­zi­ata, comes to an end. Dec. 4, 2018: The now-for­mer NPCA board holds an­other closed door meet­ing to dis­cuss per­son­nel mat­ters. Dec. 6, 2018:

5 p.m. Re­gional coun­cil re­places all 12 Ni­a­gara mem­bers on the NPCA board with an in­terim board.

5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Brick­ell in­formed in writ­ing that he has been fired.

6:12 p.m. NPCA staff told Brick­ell no longer works there. HR warns them not to talk to Brick­ell.

6:18 p.m. NPCA is­sues press re­lease say­ing NPCA clerk Lisa McManus is in­terim CAO.
