Niagara Railway Museum at 21 Warren St. in Fort Erie will be open May 11 and 12 on the Mother’s Day weekend.
After that, it will reopen for public visits every Saturday from June 15 to Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the locomotives, boxcars, yard cars and other memorabilia, it has numerous displays of model railroads and a re-creation of a railway ticket office in the lobby with train memorabilia once used at Niagara Central Hobbies in St. Catharines.
