O'SULLIVAN, Janet Maureen Carroll

1961 - 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Maureen Carroll O'Sullivan on May 20th at the age of 61. She was surrounded by love, with her children and friends by her side. Janet was the proud and loving mother of Kevin & Sarah O'Sullivan, and her beloved Chocolate Labrador Sundance. She was predeceased by her parents Barney Carroll & Kathleen O'Sullivan. Janet will also be forever missed by her chosen family; the families of: Alison Baxter Fiorella/ Calaguiro, Heather Ridpath, Gail Matsuba, Anita Andersson, Lynda Tyler, Lisa Bailey, Cheryl Barton, Evan Nethercott, Brenda Lane, Kathy Sporcic, & Madge Lopez. Janet was a strong and passionate woman, with a beautiful sense of humor and spirit of kindness. She had a deep care for all animals, but dogs held a special place in her heart. Janet enjoyed giving back to others every chance that she got, and would always put others before herself. She was a proud alumni of Brigham Young University, and worked as a Teacher for many years before happily devoting her life to her children. The outpouring of love and support from friends and the community has been overwhelming. We encourage anyone who felt touched or impacted by Janet's love to join us for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 30th at St. John's Anglican Church, 2878 St. John's Dr., Jordan Station ON, L0R1S0 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a reception. In honour of Janet, please wear something colourful, as she brought light and colour into the lives of so many. If desired, as an expression of love, donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society or to Mark Preece House in her memory.
