Sil­ver Stick tour­na­ment

The 21st an­nual Sar­nia Girls In­ter­na­tional Sil­ver Stick tour­na­ment runs from Fri­day to Sun­day.

Games will be played at Clear­wa­ter, Sar­nia, Progressive Auto Sales and Point Ed­ward are­nas.

Fifty teams are play­ing in three age lev­els: midget (BB and B), pee­wee (AA, A, BB and B), and atom (B). They're com­ing from across On­tario as well as from Detroit, Chicago and Omaha, Neb.

Sar­nia has teams in the midget BB and B, pee­wee B and atom B di­vi­sions. Moore­town is in atom B and Lambton is in midget B.

The first game is at 8:45 a.m. Fri­day at Progressive Auto Sales Arena. The open­ing cer­e­monies are at 6 p.m. at Sar­nia Arena.
