Man charged with Clarenville Dollarama robbery released on bail
The 35-year-old man charged with the Jan. 10 armed robbery of Clarenville’s Dollarama was released on bail Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Mitchell Fennell, who is charged with armed robbery of $87.75, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (a knife allegedly used in the robbery), and being disguised with intent, was released on several conditions. Among other things, he must remain away from the Dollarama, as well as the Esso gas station on Memorial Drive in Clarenville, where he allegedly stole two cans of beer on Jan. 2.
There are a number of people which Fennell must also not communicate or have contact with.
Fennell must also reside at a house in Plate Cove West, must submit any weapons, firearms, or related license to the RCMP, must adhere to a curfew, and avoid any alcohol or illegal drugs.
He is scheduled in appear in court again March. 15.
