Parents in the Trinity Bay North area are rushing to get their “golden ticket” for an impressive production to be presented by Catalina Elementary — the musical play, “Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr.”

With 25 students from Grade 4-8, the play is the third musical for the small school, but the most ambitious yet.

Ben Dooley is a Grade 7 and music teacher at the school, who runs the drama group and is the director behind “Willy Wonka Jr.”

Dooley told The Packet the book on which it is based is his favourite book ever.
