RCMP remove impaired driver from the road in Clarenville
RCMP members took a motorist off the road in Clarenville on a recent weekend and charged him with impaired driving.
According to a press release issued last week, Clarenville RCMP received an anonymous tip Sunday, Aug. 26, reporting an impaired driver.
Police responded and found the reported vehicle.
A 60-year old man was impaired by alcohol and provided breath samples that were more than twice the legal limit.
The driver has been released with a court appearance set for this fall.
