A na­tional 2018 autism spec­trum dis­or­der (ASD) re­port from Canada’s fed­eral gov­ern­ment con­cluded that in 2015, one in

66 chil­dren and youth in Canada have been di­ag­nosed with ASD. In New­found­land and Labrador, that num­ber is one in 57 as of

2015.

Most chil­dren are di­ag­nosed by age four.

For ev­ery fe­male di­ag­nosed with ASD, there were five males with ASD.
