Bridge Open­ing

The newly con­structed bridge on the Random Is­land Cause­way was of­fi­cially opened on Sat­ur­day, Nov. 25. It was the sec­ond bridge to be opened in this area on that day. Above, Hon. Char­lie Brett, Min­is­ter of Pub­lic Works and MHA for Trin­ity North, cuts the cer­e­mo­nial rib­bon to de­clare the bridge open. Hold­ing the rib­bon were Hon. Neil Wind­sor, Min­is­ter of Mu­nic­i­pal Af­fairs (left) and Hon. Joe Goudie, Min­is­ter of Ru­ral De­vel­op­ment. Also on hand for the cer­e­mony were Hon. Jerry Dinn, Min­is­ter of Trans­porta­tion and Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, and Hon. Wal­lace House, Min­is­ter of Ed­u­ca­tion.
