The newly constructed bridge on the Random Island Causeway was officially opened on Saturday, Nov. 25. It was the second bridge to be opened in this area on that day. Above, Hon. Charlie Brett, Minister of Public Works and MHA for Trinity North, cuts the ceremonial ribbon to declare the bridge open. Holding the ribbon were Hon. Neil Windsor, Minister of Municipal Affairs (left) and Hon. Joe Goudie, Minister of Rural Development. Also on hand for the ceremony were Hon. Jerry Dinn, Minister of Transportation and Communications, and Hon. Wallace House, Minister of Education.
