Tri­cen­tia se­nior girls win fifth-straight pro­vin­cial ban­ner

The Tri­cen­tia Sr. Girls vol­ley­ball team is on a roll.

Rep­re­sent­ing the Arnold’s Cove school, the team won its fifth-straight School Sports New­found­land and Labrador AAA vol­ley­ball ban­ner at a com­pe­ti­tion in Pasadena this past week­end.

The fi­nal game came down to a 21-25, 25-21,15-13 win against Leo Burke Academy from Bishop’s Falls.

Sarah Trow­bridge was tour­na­ment MVP for Tri­cen­tia and Kal­lie Best won the sports­man­ship award.
