Clarenville Li­ons Club is col­lect­ing used eyeglasses and used hear­ing aids at var­i­ous lo­ca­tions in Clarenville. These eyeglasses and hear­ing aids are re­fur­bished and re­dis­tributed to peo­ple in need through­out the world.

The drop-off lo­ca­tions are: Clarenville Area Co-op; Cowan’s Op­ti­cal; Vogue Op­ti­cal; East Coast Eye Care; O’Ma­hony Manor; Dr. G B Cross Me­mo­rial Hospi­tal; Random Square Mall and East­ern Health.

SE­NIORS’ BUS­ING, VOL­UN­TEERS NEEDED

The Clarenville Re­gion Ex­tended Se­niors Trans­porta­tion (CREST) sys­tem is a part­ner­ship be­tween the Town of Clarenville and Random AgeFriendly Com­mu­ni­ties com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing ap­pro­pri­ate and af­ford­able trans­porta­tion for peo­ple over
