Two robbers who got their targeted home wrong and assaulted an innocent couple Feb. 25 have been found, city police say.

Police said a couple, both 30, were at their Spillsbury Dr. apartment when a knock at the door woke them up.

The man looked through the peephole but was unable to see anyone in the hall, police said.

He was opening the apartment door when three men rushed into the apartment, police said.

The woman was forced to the ground by one man. Police said the man was also forced to the ground and hit in the face by another man carrying a handgun.

The invaders took a cellphone, laptop, keys to a van, a knapsack and two wallets containing identification, cash and bank cards.

On Monday officers arrested one man as he was leaving the Toronto South Detention Centre where he’s serving a sentence on the weekends for charges of obstruction police and escaping lawful custody. Police said those charges relate to an April crime in Durham region.

Javan Wade-Henry, 24, of Pickering, was charged with two counts each of robbery, forcible confinement, uttering threats and pointing a firearm and one count each of break and enter and breach of probation.

He is to appear in court June 21.

Police said the second robber is an inmate at the Don Jail in Toronto because of a violent robbery that happened in Toronto in June 2012.

Charles Wilson, 23, of Mississauga, was charged with two counts each of robbery, forcible confinement, uttering threats and pointing a firearm, and one count each of break and enter and possession of stolen property.

He is to appear i n court again Wednesday.

Police said investigators are still trying to figure out if a third person was involved.

Investigators have laid charges in 14 of the 24 robberies that have taken place this year, police said.

The complainant in a Feb. 16 robbery has declined to co-operate, police said, and investigators are still looking for someone who broke into a Bethune St. home Jan. 20 and fired a shot.
