The Peterborough Kawartha Lakes MinCom Realty Jr. C Lakers completed a sweep of the Brockville Ballistic in opening round playoff action Saturday at the Kinsmen Civic Centre.

Powered by Chris Clancy's three goals and three assists, the Lakers beat Brockville 12-4 to take the best-of-five OJCLL quarter-final 30. The third place Lakers are expected to meet second place Clarington in semifinal play. Dates are to be announced.

Cole McWilliams had two goals and three assists and Brandon Johnson two goals and two assists. Mike Cavanagh scored twice, Darien Jacobs had a goal and three assists, Nick Andreoli and Riley Venton a goal and assist. Dylan Kempt had two assists with singles to Cam Crowe, Parker Sands, Josh Miller, Luke Grills and goalie Brandon Wilson.
