GOING TO THE DOGS

The Norwood Fair grounds went to the dogs in early July, literally as nearly 700 canines and their owners gathered for a huge three day Kawartha Kennel Club Competition. The event filled the grounds with a large big top style tent and a sea of trailers and motor homes, with visitors coming from across the country (there were a few puppy’s from the east coast) and even a few from New York State.

This is the first year the club has hosted this event in Norwood and participants were very happy with the new venue. To our visitors’ credit, even with that many four legged family members around, the day after it was over, you would never have known they were there.
