Five Thursday night racing cards running until Aug. 22
Thursday racing returns to Kawartha Downs this week with a 4 p.m. post time.
It is the first of five Thursday summer dates on the 2013 schedule through to Aug. 22. The regular Saturday cards continue with a 7 p.m. post time through to Aug. 26.
Due to the restructuring of harness racing in Ontario and at Kawartha Downs, there is no harness racing scheduled at the Fraserville track beyond Aug. 26 for the 2013 season.
Racing will resume in 2014 under a non-profit model administered by the Peterborough County Federation of Agriculture. have 20 pits now, 20 brand new pits.”

She was also pleased others from the PCC fared well in their respective categories on that day. Travis Samuel was fourth in U23, Bayley Simpson second in the junior men’s championship and Bayley’s dad, Brian Simpson, was 20th in his masters age group.
