BLOOD CLINIC: Final day of Mayor Daryl Bennett's annual blood donor clinic runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Canadian Blood Services permanent clinic on George St. N.

ART: The Kawartha Artists Gallery and Studio at 420 O'Connell Rd. presents Black & White + One Colour, an all-members show and sale of art in black and white with maybe one additional colour added.. MUSEUM: The Peterborou­gh Museum and Archives presents the What Lies Beneath - Canadian Shipwrecks of Lake Superior exhibit until Sept. 18. The exhibition tells the largely undocument­ed stories of many but not all of the ships that wrecked in Canadian waters - passenger liners, war ships, freighters, ghost ships, yachts, fishing boats and tugs. Featuring dozens of artifacts, and supplement­ed by local collection­s. On loan from the Thunder Bay Museum. The museum is located on Hunter St. E. atop Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Admission by donation.
