First loss of sea­son for Peter­bor­ough Jr. C Lak­ers

The Peter­bor­ough MinCom Kawartha Lakes Realty Jr. C Lak­ers suf­fered their first loss of the sea­son Wed­nes­day night, fall­ing 13-9 to the Whitby War­riors in On­tario Ju­nior C Lacrosse League ac­tion at the Ev­in­rude Cen­tre.

The loss drops the Jr. C Lak­ers to 4-1 on the sea­son.

Ri­ley Cald­well had two goals for the Jr. C Lak­ers. Also scor­ing were Travis Fer­gu­son with a goal and three as­sists and Adam Churchill with a goal and an as­sist, while Aaron Brad­shaw, Cam Crow­ley, Char­lie Kan­gas, Nick Webb and Cur­tis Martin had the other goals.

Max Smith had four as­sists while sin­gle as­sists went to Jenson Walker, Ri­ley Hoover and goalie Tay­lor Hog­garth.

Af­ter their long week­end break, the Jr. C Lak­ers next face the Clar­ing­ton Sham­rox on the road on Wed­nes­day night.
