New principals for three city high schools
Three of the city’s four public high schools will have new principals in September after a round of principal and vice-principal appointments announced Tuesday by the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School principal Jeff Stewart has been appointed as principal of facilities services and operations at the board’s Education Centre.
Crestwood Secondary School principal Melanie Foulkes will replace Stewart as TASSS principal while Adam Scott Collegiate principal Dave Lorentz will replace Foulkes at Crestwood.
Wilf Gray, the former principal of the former Lakefield District Secondary School and the current principal of the Centre for Individual Studies in Bowmanville, will replace Lorentz as the new Adam Scott principal.
Victoria Dunn was named vice-principal at Crestwood and Stephanie Fox-Comery as viceprincipal at Kenner Collegiate.
New city elementary school principals include Penny Hope at Keith Wightman Public School and Rachelle Duffus at Queen Elizabeth Public School.
New elementary principals named at Peterborough County elementary schools include Susan Matthews at Lakefield District Public School, Janice MacKenzie at Millbrook/South Cavan Public School and Nicole Lees at Warsaw Public School.
New elementary vice-principals in the city and county are Tania Lamond at Prince of Wales, Matthew Gennings at James Strath, Tina Futers at Queen Mary,Jennifer Murphy at Adam Scott Intermediate and Peter Cain at Chemong.

Hawkins Senior PS, Karin Mackenzie-Russell at East Northumberland SS, Jennifer Massie as principal of special education at Clarington, Darlene Morra at North Hope Central PS, Jessica Outram at Dr. G.J. MacGillivray PS, Alison Sadowski at PACE/Northumberland and Clarington CIS, Joanne Shuttleworth at Colborne PS and Jeff Watt at Clarington Central.
