Terry’s Gas takes 2-0 lead over Marshall’s

Terry’s Gas and Variety has taken a 2-0 series stranglehold over defending champion Marshall’s in the Peterborough Men’s Softball Association title series. Terry’s dominated Marshall’s in a 13-1 win on Thursday night at the George (Red) Sullivan East City Bowl.

Matt Leahy tossed a three-hitter for the win.

Jake Rose and Greg Latchford pitched for Marshall’s in the loss. Mark Langley homered for Terry’s while Steve MacNaughton had a triple.

Greg Watts hit a solo home run for the only Marshall’s run. Game 3 is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the East City Bowl.
