Vandalism witnesses sought

City police seek witnesses or anyone with information after an Armour Road apartment building was damaged early Saturday morning.

A group of men were reported in the parking lot of the property smashing vehicles and causing damage, police stated.

Their noise awoke neighbours who called police. After a resident confronted them, they fled and were last seen running south on Armour.

Officers arrived to find recycling bins pushed over and laying in the middle of the parking lot, damaged vegetable plants and an eaves trough that had been ripped from the building lying on the front steps along with a smashed laptop computer.

The suspects were described as white, between 18 and 25 and wearing dark-coloured sweaters.
