Paint the Town Red raises more than $16K

The sixth annual Paint the Town Red fundraiser on July 18 raised more than $16,000 for the United Way of Peterborough and District, up six per cent from last year’s total, organizers announced Thursday.

Hundreds of people dined out at 32 participating local restaurants which donated 25 per cent of their daily sales to the United Way.
