Canadian TV networks Stand Up to Cancer for a third year

Canadian TV stations will once again Stand Up to Cancer in conjunction with TV networks across the U.S. For the third year, the fundraising special will be broadcast on the four major English-language Canadian networks as well as numerous specialty channels, TV websites and apps on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. The broadcast, coming live from Santa Monica, Calif., will include oodles of celebrities with Canadian content in the form of “Designated Survivor” co-star Italia Ricci and Woodstock, Ont., cancer patient Caitlin Timmins. More stars will be announced ahead of the fundraising special.
