Petes reassign McCrory to OJHL’s Wellington Dukes

The Peterborough Petes reassigned 2017 fifth-round draft pick Graeme McCrory to the OJHL’s Wellington Dukes on Friday, said GM Mike Oke.

It leaves the Petes with 27 players left on their pre-season roster including three goalies, eight defencemen and 16 forwards. The only player left in camp who is not signed or doesn’t have OHL experience is centre Dustin Hutton. He was the Petes’ first-round pick in April’s OHL Under-18 Draft.

The Petes play their first exhibition game on the road Saturday against the Guelph Storm. They host the Oshawa Generals at 2:05 p.m. Sunday at the Memorial Centre.
