Bach adds second show at Venue
Rocker Sebastian Bach’s first hometown gig in 34 years sold out so fast he has added a second show.
“Time to rock the roof off again 34 YEARS LATER wow!” Bach wrote on his Facebook page. “We are really looking forward to it!”
Bach is on a tour that takes him across North America this summer and fall.
After he announced Aug. 1 that he would play at The Venue on George St. N. on Nov. 17, the performance quickly sold out.
Now there’s a second show scheduled for Nov. 19 at The Venue (tickets go on sale Thursday).
He wrote on Facebook this week that he was very happy to schedule a second hometown performance.
“Well this is so cool I love announcing this!” he wrote.
“Because the first Peterborough Ontario Canada show sold out in lightning fast record time, we have been forced to add a SECOND show NOVEMBER 19 2018 in the capital of rock’n roll, Peterborough Ontario Canada!”
Bach, 50, grew up in Peterborough. He’s the son of artist David Bierk.
For years he sang for the hardrock band Skid Row. He’s also performed on Broadway and made TV appearances on shows such as Gilmore Girls and Trailer Park Boys.
Bach wrote on Facebook this summer that he’s only performed four previous “real gigs” in his hometown (the last was at Memorial Centre in the 1980s, he wrote).
Tickets will be $40 and can be purchased starting Thursday at 10 a.m. through at www.ticketscene.ca/artists/sebastian_bach_skid_row/
