Two hurt in motorcycle crashes; driver was not wearing a helmet
Peterborough County OPP are continuing to investigate two separate motorcycle crashes over the long weekend.
The first occurred Friday at about 3 p.m. on County Road 507 in Trent Lakes when a southbound motorcyclist lost control while passing another bike.
The man, 33, crashed into a ditch and suffered serious but non-lifethreatening injuries.
He was airlifted to a Toronto hospital.
At 9 p.m. that night, a southbound motorcycle went off the road into a ditch and crashed into a culvert on Robinson Road in Selwyn Township. The driver was not wearing a helmet, police say.
The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old man, was airlifted to Toronto with life-threatening injuries.
