Mann Cup tickets go on sale Wednesday
Seven-game packages for the Mann Cup national senior men’s lacrosse championship series will go on sale Wednesday morning for Peterborough Century 21 Lakers season ticket holders.
Season ticket holders have until the end of the day Thursday to claim their seats.
All remaining seats will go on sale to the general public at 9:30 a.m. Friday ft the Peterborough Memorial Centre for both sevenday packages and single-game tickets.
The Lakers are defending their Mann Cup championship against the Western Lacrosse Association champion Maple Ridge Burrards, featuring former Laker Curtis Dickson, after the Lakers won the Major Series Lacrosse title on Saturday night with an
8-7 Game 6 win over the Oakville Rock in Oakville.
It’s the first time Peterborough has hosted the Mann Cup series since 2012. The Lakers defeated the Langley Thunder that year in six games.
Last season they beat the New Westminster Salmonbellies in six games in British Columbia.
The series schedule at the Peterborough Memorial Centre is:
• Friday – 8 p.m.
• Saturday – 7 p.m.
• Monday – 8 p.m.
• Sept. 11 – 8 p.m.
• Sept. 12 – 8 p.m., if necessary
• Sept. 14 – 8 p.m., if necessary
• Sept. 15 – 7 p.m.., if necessary Adult ticket prices, including HST, are:
• $25 for single tickets and $175 for seven-game packages for club seats for non-season ticket holders.
• $20.50 for single tickets and $143.50 for seven-game packages for bowl seats for non-season ticket holders.
• $21.50 for single tickets and $150.50 for seven-game packages for club seats for season ticket holders.
• $17 for single tickets and $119 for seven-game packages for bowl seats for season ticket holders.
There are discounts on those prices for seniors, students and children.
