Stolen credit card used

A local man whose credit card was taken from an unlocked vehicle early Aug. 28 was alerted to suspicious activity on the card by his bank and called police. Officers identified a suspect and made two arrests Sunday.

Curtis Wade Simon, 53, of Aylmer Street N., was charged with illegal use of a credit card, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking.

Alice Marie Bergeron, 20, of Brock Street, was charged with illegal use of a credit card, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking.
