Chemong Bridge down to one lane for three days

The Chemong Bridge at the James A. Gifford Causeway will be down to one lane for three days next week.

Traffic is scheduled to be restricted to a single traffic lane from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday.

The purpose of the lane closure is to allow for the inspection of the existing gas main that is located underneath the Chemong Bridge by Enbridge Gas crews, according to a notice from Peterborough County.

Traffic flagging will be maintained at the lane closure to minimize traffic delays, the notice states.
