$120K excavator set on fire

APSLEY — Peterborough County OPP are investigating after an excavator was set on fire near Apsley early Monday morning. Police arrived at the site on Highway 28 at about 1 a.m. and found the burning John Deere 200D LC excavator. The machine had also been spray-painted with graffiti. Damage in what police are calling a case of arson is estimated at $120,000.
