Ennismore motorcycle crash victim dies
A man involved in a motorcycle crash on Robinson Road on Aug. 31 has died from his injuries, Peterborough County OPP report.
Murray Tebbs, 56, of Selwyn Township was riding on the road near Ennismore just after 9 p.m. Aug. 31 when he lost control and crashed into a ditch. He was not wearing a helmet, police say. He was airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto where he died Wednesday.
The OPP continues to investigate the crash.
He is survived by his wife Ellen, son Kyle and mother Gertie. A celebration of his life has been scheduled for Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Church at 1421 Lansdowne St. W. Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a reception will follow the celebration of his life.
The family is asking that memorial donations be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
