Men charged with threatening

A local man was leaving his apartment Saturday when he was confronted by two people who allegedly threatened him before leaving. Police were called, and while they were at the home, the two suspects returned and were arrested.

Joshua Christopher Geraghty, 21, of no fixed address, Peterborough, was charged with assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and failing to comply with a probation order. He appeared in weekend court Sunday. Stephen Christopher Geraghty, 46, of Park Street South, was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was released and will appear in court Sept. 27.
