Vehicle break-in on Chamberlain

Someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle parked at a Chamberlain Street home June 22 between 2 and 4:30 a.m. Sports equipment and tools were stolen. The owner later discovered that his debit card had been taken and used at local convenience stores.

An arrest was made Monday.

Randy Lee Vilneff, 25, of Lansdowne Street East, was charged with possession of a credit card, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a probation order.

He was released and will appear in court Oct. 4.
