Woman charged in domestic case

A local woman was arrested and charged early Wednesday morning after a domestic incident at a local home.

It’s alleged that the woman hit her former partner with a set of keys attached to a lanyard. Police were called and the woman was arrested and charged with assault. Her name was not released by city police to protect the other person’s identity.
