MPP should consult constituents

The Peterborough Examiner - - Opinion -

With regard to the Government's plan to use the notwithstanding clause for Ontario Bill 5/31, I would like to ask you to consider that this is an extreme measure.

Your first responsibility (as with any MPP) should be to your constituents, the people who 'hired' you. I would ask that you consult us before voting on this. Yes, by the way, I did vote for you. Alan Aslett, Peterborough Editor’s note: This letter was written before Wednesday’s vote on the bill.
