ACCESSIBLE BALL DIAMOND PLANNED
There could soon be a new, wheelchair-accessible baseball diamond built in Peterborough for a team of children with special needs.
Peterborough Challenger Baseball wants to build the new accessible ball diamond at Kiwanis Park, fronting on Middlefield Rd. Challenger Baseball president Bernie Daynes will give a presentation about it to the city’s arenas, parks and recreation committee Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at 210 Wolfe St.
