It’s alleged that a man took photos of a local woman without her knowledge or consent between July 15 and Aug. 13, altered them and posted them on social media. The two were in a relationship. He’s also accused of making unwanted contact with her and damaging a vehicle belonging to someone she knows.
A warrant was issued Sept. 10 and the man was arrested Tuesday at city police headquarters Tuesday.
A 45-year-old Richmond Hill man was charged with voyeurism, criminal harassment (repeatedly communicating) and mischief under $5,000.
He was released and will appear in court Oct. 4.
His name was not released by city police to protect the woman’s identity.
