Fleming Knights men’s rugby team spear Loyalist Lancers

The Fleming Knights men’s rugby team bounced back from an opening week loss to the Algonquin Thunder by pounding the Loyalist Lancers 51-5 in OCAA play Wednesday night at the Fleming Sports Complex.

The Knights came ready to play as they scored their first try within minutes of kick off courtesy of Weldon Spears. Spears had an outstanding game scoring two tries.

The Knights also had a big night from Kai Lucas-Dumolo who had a try and three converts. Also scoring tries for Fleming were Ryan Goodall, Christopher Trojahn, Jesse Wilson, Mason Flesch, Dallas Anthony and Dominic Robinson.

Fleming visits Algonquin on Sunday.
