WIN SENDS PAGANS TO CONSOLATION FINAL

The Peterborough Pagans won their final home game of 2018 to advance to the consolation final of the Ontario Rugby Union’s McCormick Cup playoffs.

The Pagans pounded Barrie RFC 43-12 at Nicholls Oval on Saturday afternoon.

They advance to the final next Saturday at 3 p.m. against London St. Georges at Fletchers Fields in Markham.

Alex Haystead led the way with three tries while Donald Glover, Brandan Ferguson, Mike Francis and Jordan Buck added singles. Josh Boyles booted four converts.
