City voter cards in the mail
Voter information cards are on their way to local voters, the city advises.
Residents whose names are on the voters’ list will receive their cards in the mail.
The cards allow residents to vote either in person in advance or on election day, or online.
Each household will receive one envelope containing the voter cards for each registered voter living there.
Online voting will be available from Oct. 9 to 22.
Advance voting will take place Oct. 12, while election day is Oct. 22.
You can check to see if you’re on the voters’ list using the Am I On the List? tool at www.peterboroughvotes.ca or by calling 705-742-7777 ext. 1022.
Anyone who doesn’t receive a voter’s card by Friday is asked to contact the city clerk’s office at City Hall at 500 George St. N. in person, or by registering online at www.peterboroughvotes.ca and the Update Your Voter Information tab.
Registration can also be done at any polling station on election day.
More information is at the website and on the City of Peterborough App, available through the App Store and Google Play.
